OLD KUOPIO MUSEUM

Brings back the Kuopio of wooden houses

Old Kuopio museum consists of eleven old wooden houses which form an enclosed block. The oldest buildings date back to the 18th century and the most recent, to the end of the 19th century. The interiors show homes and workshops of different kinds of families from 19th century to the 1930´s. There is also a pharmacy museum in the block. In addition there is a café in the block. In the yard, there grow many old ornamental and utile plants.
